Thank you, Tyrone's Mom

One time I was directing an 8th grade musical and this one mom offered to just hang out and help keep the kids in line and I’m like yes great. So this one kid like won’t shut up and then Tyrone’s mom stands up from the back row of the darkened auditorium in her leather trench coat and calmly but loudly goes, “I know where you live. And I know where your mother lives. And Jesus knows where you both live.” And then all the kids were awesome.

This was over a decade ago but may we all go into this week with a real Tyrone’s-mom energy.
